Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "CONNOLLY & PALMER / NEW BRUNSWICK," N.J. origin, circa 1886-1889, cylindrical jug with tapered spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a leaf. Slip-trailed "2" above. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 14".
