Glazed Redware Bowl, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA, circa 1840-1880, flaring bowl with footed base and semi-rounded rim, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a bright yellow ground. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on underside. Four restored cracks from rim. A small restored area on interior of rim area. Several short hairlines at base, continuing a short distance onto underside. A short hairline from rim. Some surface wear to rim. Small base chip. Light wear to interior. H 3 1/2" ; D 8 1/4".
