Five-Gallon Glazed Stoneware Churn, Inscribed "R B," Robert Broyles, Cherokee County, SC, late 19th or early 20th century, ovoid churn with flared collar and semi-squared lug handles, the surface covered in a streaky brown glaze. Incised "R B" followed by a 5, denoting five gallons. Two shallow chips to one handle. A small chip and tiny nick to top of rim. Wear to inner rim for lid. A 1 3/4" surface line from rim on reverse. H 18 3/4".
