Three Stoneware Crocks with Cobalt Bird Decoration, NY State origin, second half 19th century, all with crested bird on stem or branch motifs, a two-gallon crock, stamped "WHITES UTICA N.Y.," a three-gallon crock, stamped "WHITES.UTICA NY," and a three-gallon crock, stamped "ADAM CAIRE / PO'KEEPSIE N.Y." Two-gallon crock with cracks, rim chips, exfoliation to reverse, and a circular line to underside. Three-gallon Whites crock with restoration to rim and base, as well as some varnished exfoliation involving around decoration. Caire crock with a long, thin inverted Y-shaped crack from rim to right of decoration, a short line at base on reverse connecting to a semi-circular line on underside, and two chips to interior of rim. H (of tallest) 10 3/8".
