Miniature Stoneware Political Pitcher, Inscribed "Cleveland Hendrick," probably Midwestern, 1884, ovoid pitcher with tooled body and flared collar, the Albany-slip-glazed surface incised "Cleveland Hendrick" for the 1884 Democratic Presidential ticket of Grover Cleveland and Thomas Hendricks. A 1 1/2" diagonal hairline from rim. A few tiny spout nicks. Traces of old bronze paint to surface, unrelated to any sort of restoration. H 4 3/4".
