Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, American, second half 19th century, a four-gallon ovoid jar with brushed floral motif on front and reverse, attributed to Enoch Burnett, Washington, D.C., paired with a stripe-decorated canning jar, Western PA origin. Larger jar with an X-shaped line in underside and a small in-the-firing chip to interior of rim. Canning jar with inner "wax sealer" rim completely ground down, in otherwise excellent condition. H (of larger) 14 3/4".
