Two Slip-Decorated Redware Plates, PA origin, mid 19th century, both with coggled edges, and wavy trails of yellow slip under a clear lead glaze. Smaller plate with flecks of copper to interior. Smaller with two chips and wear to rim, a flake to interior, additional wear to interior, a semi-circular crack to reverse, and small chips to reverse. Larger with wear to rim and flakes, wear to interior, the reverse with flakes and blackening. Diam. (of smaller) 8".
