Two Quart-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Philadelphia, PA origin, third quarter 19th century, both of cylindrical form, one with three brushed floral motifs, the other with four foliate motifs. Floral-decorated example with a 1 3/8" hairline from rim, a 1 1/8" flake to rim, and a minor glazed-over base chip. Other jar with a minor rim chip, minor rim wear, a small U-shaped line to exterior of rim, and a tiny line to exterior of rim. H (of shorter) 7".
