Rare Salt-Glazed Stoneware Canning Jar with Marked Lid, Stamped "ANNA ILL," circa 1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, and flared rim, the surface coated in a light-colored slip under a clear salt glaze. Includes its original, rare salt-glazed stoneware lid, stamped "ANNA ILL." Jar in excellent condition with some traces of paint to surface. Lid with a 1 3/8" chip to outer edge, a 1 1/8" chip to upper edge, and a glazed-over, in-the-firing surface line. H (including lid) 9 7/8".
