Rare Stoneware Flask with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, attributed to David Clark, Cornwall, NY, circa 1810, oval form with flattened sides and heavily-tooled spout, brush-decorated on the front and reverse with a stylized foliate motif. Excellent condition with two tiny spout chips, tiny chips to base, and a smooth in-the-firing contact mark to each side, and a small in-the-firing iron ping to underside. H 7".
