Outstanding Miniature Copper-Glazed Redware Jug, attributed to J. Eberly & Co. or S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid jug with short, tooled spout, the surface covered in a brilliant lead-and-copper glaze. Scarce form with exceptional size and glaze. Among the finest Strasburg redware jugs that we have offered. Excellent condition with a few tiny nicks to spout and some faint lines ascending partway up body from base, possibly in-the-firing. H 3 5/8".
