One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Central PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid jar with flattened rim, brush-decorated with a stem bearing graduated leaves and two stylized blossoms composed of graduated spouts. A large salt drip to left side. A 1" rim chip on right side of rim and two minor rim chips to reverse. Some fry to right edge of decoration. A short line to base on reverse. An in-the-firing chip to underside at edge. H 8 5/8".
