One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1830, cylindrical jar with squared rim, brush-decorated with a continuous horizontal tulip motif around the shoulder. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a small in-the-firing bump in clay at rim. H 10 1/2".
