Six-Quart Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock with Bellvalle, NY Advertising, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th century, cylindrical crock with semi-squared rim and arched tab handles, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "D. Roe Jr. / Bellvalle, / N.Y." over a salt-glazed ground. Includes salt-and-Bristol-slip-glazed lid, impressed with a different "6" and possibly original to the Fulper pottery. Crock with base chips, a chip to interior of rim, and a salt drip and minor in-the-firing iron ping near base. Lid with a few chips. Some staining to both. H (excluding lid) 7 7/8".
