Suitland, MD Tanware Advertising Jug, Western PA origin, Dated 1879, tan-clayed, cylindrical jug featuring the stenciled Albany slip advertising, "S.T. SUIT / SUITLAND, MD. / LITTLE BROWN JUG / The Whiskey in this Jug / Was Made 1869. / AND JUGGED BY ME / 1879". Restoration to right side of spout. A tiny nick and short vertical line to base of handle. H 7".
