Flint Enamel Pitcher and Bowl Set, Stamped "Lyman Fenton & Co. / Fenton's / ENAMEL, / PATENTED / 1849. / BENNINGTON, VT", circa 1849-1858, high-styled, molded pitcher with upswept spout and footed base, including its original bowl with twelve-sided rim and footed base, both decorated with olive, amber, and blue. Impressed Lyman Fenton & Co. maker's marks on the underside of each. Pitcher with a 1" base chip, a thin 7/8" in-the-firing contact mark near base, and a minuscule spout nick. Bowl in very nice condition with a minor Y-shaped surface line to underside, expected minor surface wear to interior base, and a minuscule surface chip on interior base filled with a clear substance. H (of pitcher) 13" ; Dimensions: (of bowl) 13 3/8" x 4 3/8".
