Scarce Flint Enamel Figure of a Cow, attributed to Lyman, Fenton & Co., Bennington, VT, circa 1849-1858, reclining figure of a cow on base with hollowed tree stump and applied clay "coleslaw" to head and base, the surface decorated in brown, amber, and green over a cream-colored ground. Restoration to ears, horns, and tail of cow. Restoration to limb extending off from tree stump. L 9 1/2" ; W 4 3/4" ; H 7 1/4".
