Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "NORTON & FENTON. / BENNINGTON Vt," circa 1843-1847, highly-ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with a brushed stem bearing three flower blossoms. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Some staining. A tiny spout and minuscule spout nick. Minor base chips. H 14".
