Rare Large-Sized Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Pointing Hand Decoration, OH origin, mid 19th century, ovoid churn with heavily-tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed horizontal design of a hand with pointing index finger. A tight 6" X-shaped line below one handle. A few small rim chips. Grease staining to exterior. Traces of old white paint to reverse. H 19".
