Rare Tart Plate with Three-Color Slip Decoration, PA origin, late 18th or early 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with four green and yellow slip foliate devices surrounding a manganese spot, all under a clear lead glaze. An approximately 3" x 1 3/8" area of surface restoration to interior, extending from edge of plate. Two tiny restored flakes to interior center. Additional painted restoration to reverse. Diam. 4 5/8".
