Glazed Earthenware Flask, possibly Salem, NC origin, 19th century, molded circular flask with flattened sides and "Whieldon"-style decoration, the lead-glazed surface featuring streaked copper and sponged manganese over a yellowish slip. A long, tight semi-circular line to one side. Scratches to surface. A small chip and wear to spout. L 5".
