Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crocks, NJ origin, second half 19th century, a four-gallon crock with brushed "4," stamped "A.J. BUTTLER / MANUFACTURER / NEW-BRUNSWICK' N.J.," the reverse decorated with a brushed floral motif; a two-gallon crock with slip-trailed leaf motif, stamped "ADAM GREEN / NEW BRUNSWICK NJ;" and a four-gallon crock with floral motif featuring an elaborate looping stem, stamped "CONNOLLY & PALMER / NEW BRUNSWICK-N J." Buttler crock with long crack from rim on reverse, rim chips, staining, and exfoliation. Adam Green crock with mottling to clay, fry to cobalt, and a short line in rim. Connolly & Palmer crock with cracks and significant poor restoration, not affecting the cobalt. H (of tallest) 11".
