Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jugs, CT origin, first quarter 19th century, all of ovoid form with cobalt accents, a half-gallon jug, stamped "GOODWIN / & / WEBSTER," Hartford origin; a one-gallon jug, stamped "ARMSTRONG / & / WENTWORTH / NORWICH," and a two-gallon jug, stamped "J. DUNTZE / MANUFACT'R. / N. HAVEN, Ct." Smallest with hole in side and in-the-making dent near base. Middle-sized jug with heavy chipping to spout and an in-the-firing chip to base on front. Largest with a chip to side of spout, several iron pings to surface, and chipping to base. H (of smallest) 10".
