Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jar with depressed lug handles and slip-trailed "fish scale" motif on front and reverse, possibly Huntington, Long Island, NY origin, paired with a two-gallon ovoid jar with open handles and brushed slash decoration on front and reverse, probably New England. Smaller jar with top-to-bottom crack, heavy base chipping, and iron pings. Larger jar with significant cracks around bottom half and small rim chips. H (of smaller) 9 3/8".
