Scarce Miniature Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1850-1880, semi-ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed pyramidal design resembling a cluster of grapes. Cobalt highlight to lower handle terminal. Exceptional size. A shallow 1/2" x 1/2" flake to underside and a tiny base nick. Otherwise excellent condition. H 2 3/4".
