One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, attributed to Peter Herrmann, Baltimore, MD, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with flared collar and tooled rim, decorated on the front with a two-stemmed clover plant motif. Cobalt brushwork flanks the spout. Restoration to a section of left side of rim; otherwise excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 10 7/8".
