Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and flared "wax sealer" rim, brush-decorated with a series of graduated opposing swags resembling a pine tree. Heavy chipping to rim. Two minor chips and wear to inner wax sealer rim. A few base chips. H 6 7/8".
