Cold-Painted Spaniel Doorstop, attributed to the George Bagnall Pottery, Newcomerstown, OH, circa 1870-1910, full-bodied figure of a seated spaniel on base with appealing chip-carved fur and incised details to face, paws, collar, and locket. Traces of old white paint to body and brown paint to eyes and muzzle. Small loss to base on reverse, including a loss to foot. Wear to muzzle. H 10".
