Two Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Bowls, Signed "Lanier Meaders," Cleveland, GA, fourth quarter 20th century, a shallow bowl and deep bowl, both covered in green alkaline glazes and incised with Lanier Meaders signatures on underside. Deep bowl with hairline crack from rim and wear to interior. Shallow bowl in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Dimensions (of deep bowl): 5" x 10 1/8".
