Slip-Decorated Redware Loaf Dish, Philadelphia, PA origin, early to mid 19th century, rectangular form with rounded corners and coggled edge, the lead-glazed interior decorated in yellow slip with three large bands composed of four wavy lines. A 9 3/4" crack from edge. A 5 1/2" surface line to midsection. Rim chips. Small surface flakes to interior. Reverse painted black. Dimensions: 16 3/4" x 11 1/2".
