Rare Coggle-Decorated Redware Pitcher, attributed to Jacob Heart, Chambersburg, PA, circa 1840, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tall, flaring collar, decorated with coggled daisy and crosshatched motifs around the midsection. Lead-glazed surface decorated with splashed manganese over a mottled green ground with orange spotting. Restored handle. Professional restoration throughout. H 8 1/4".
