Rockingham-Glazed Figure of a Frog on Base, probably OH origin, second half 19th century, large-sized, molded figure of a frog on rectangular base with canted corners, the surface decorated in cobalt and brown under a clear glaze. Hand-incised details toes and nostrils. Underside impressed "43." A 1 1/4" base chip, primarily visible when frog is turned over. Otherwise excellent condition. Dimensions: L 6" x W 4 3/8" x H 3 1/2".
