Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Southern U.S. origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid jug with narrow spout and two impressed slash marks at the shoulder, the surface covered in a streaky green alkaline glaze. A few spout chips. Some blistering to glaze. H 13 1/2".
