Fine Glazed Redware Jar, NY State origin, second quarter 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base tooled shoulder, and flared, semi-squared rim, the lead-glazed surface featuring brightly-colored shades of yellowish-green over a reddish ground. Minor surface flakes. Rim with a 5/8" chip and wear. Inner rim for lid with two chips and wear. Light wear around midsection. Base chips. H 9 1/4".
