Fine Glazed Redware Stew Pot, probably ME origin, late 18th or early 19th century, ovoid form with footed base, rounded rim, and applied handle, its lead-glazed surface colorfully-decorated with brushed manganese over light-colored slip. Excellent color. Incised "73" on underside. A reglued 5 7/8" x 2 1/2" semi-circular piece to foot. Surface flakes. H 8 1/8".
