Glazed Redware Canning Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO" with Cross, PA origin, circa 1850-1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and slightly-flared rim, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a yellow clay ground. Underside impressed with John Bell maker's mark above an unusual cross stamp. Some wear or glaze spalling to surface. A small rim chip. Staining. H 7 1/4".
