Stoneware Harvest Jug, Inscribed "Garland / Private Stock," probably Midwestern origin, fourth quarter 19th century, beehive form with arched handle and applied wide and narrow pouring spouts, the surface dipped in a glossy Albany slip glaze and deeply incised with the underscored inscription "Garland / Private Stock," a liquor reference. Excellent condition with a minor nick to larger spout. H 11".
