Rare Miniature Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Spaniel, Inscribed "MY DOG," probably Midwestern origin, fourth quarter 19th century, molded spaniel with incised eyes and mouth, the face with brushed cobalt mask, the reverse inscribed in large freehand letters, "MY DOG." Presumably made by a potter in the likeness of his dog. Broken in two along seam-line, including a reglued head. Minor wear to nose. H 2 1/2".
