Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Mid-Atlantic origin, second half 19th century, a two-gallon ovoid jar with tall collar and two-sided fan-shaped floral decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860; paired with a small, cylindrical jar with foliate decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865. Baltimore jar with large handle chip, a small chip to interior of rim, and two minor base chips. Remmey jar with two small rim chips and a tiny chip to underside at edge. H (of Remmey jar) 7".
