Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, PA and OH origin, 19th century, a four-gallon pan with brushed spotted decoration on front and reverse, inscribed with an underscored "4" on front, Western PA origin, second half 19th century; paired with a three-gallon ovoid jar with stylized floral motif on front and impressed "3" incorporating a debossed heart on reverse, Roseville, OH origin, third quarter 19th century. Four-gallon pan with thin 3" crack on underside, continuing 5 1/2" up front, as well as a 1" hairline on underside, continuing 2" up reverse. Ohio jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of Ohio jar) 14 1/4".
