Two Pottery Articles, American, 19th and possibly early 20th centuries, a miniature lead-glazed redware jar with orange spotting over a gray-green ground, paired with a rare, slip-cast salt-glazed stoneware apple bank, with penciled date, "aug 15, 1907," although bank appears earlier. Provenance: Jar acquired years ago in Lehigh Valley, PA. Jar with minor rim wear. Bank in excellent, essentially as-made condition with in-the-firing roughness to surface. H (of jar) 3" ; Dimensions (of bank): 3" x 2 1/2".
