Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar, decorated in Albany slip with a sweeping fuchsia vine design around the body and drapes, flourishes, and spots on the collar. Freehand stripe to base. Stripes to handle and highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a tiny worn spot to rim, possibly in the firing. H 6 3/4".
