Glazed Stoneware Canning Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and tooled "wax sealer" rim, the surface covered in heavy celadon glaze with cream-colored runs. Provenance: Property deaccessioned by the Miller House Museum, Hagerstown, MD. Excellent condition with a minuscule nick to inner rim for lid and some minor traces of old paint to surface, unrelated to any sort of restoration. H 6 3/8".
