Small-Sized Redware Jug, American, 19th century, ovoid jug with tall spout and flared mouth, the body with crossing wavy line decoration, the shoulder with straight and wavy incised line decoration. Surface decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. A few minor glaze flakes to handle. A minor glaze flake to spout. Small areas at the base, which appear to be glaze flakes, are actually areas where the glaze did not cover during the firing. H 4 1/4".
