Fine Small-Sized Glazed Redware Jar, New England origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base, squared, rim and applied lug handles, the lead-glazed surface featuring a speckled, dark-salmon ground with greenish streaks. Excellent size and color. Two small in-the-firing lime pings to surface. Tiny chip to handle. Light rim wear. H 6 1/4".
