Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER, MASS.," circa 1870, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated crossed spotted leaves flanking a central tornado motif. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Very nice condition with a few shallow chips to interior of rim and a tiny chip to interior of rim. H 11".
