Three Midwestern Stoneware Pieces, American, late 19th-early 20th century, a molded stoneware figure of a standing lion with Albany slip glaze, paired with two Knight ware sewer tile pitchers, one marked "1/4" with knight-in-shield logo, the other marked "MADE BY / M.A. KNIGHT / MAKER OF / ACID PROOF STONEWARE / SPECIAL WARE AND JUGS / AKRON. OHIO." Lion with shallow chips throughout and old restoration to ears. One pitcher with rim chip. Other pitcher with small chip to thumbrest. H (of lion) 7 1/4" ; L (of lion) 8 1/4" ; H (of smaller pitcher) 6 1/8".
