Small-Sized Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "I. THOMAS," Maysville, KY, circa 1840, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and flattened rim, impressed with Isaac Thomas maker's mark at shoulder. Desirable size. Two rim chips. An in-the-firing contact mark on underside at edge in the form of a small piece of adhered clay and minor chip. H 8 1/8".
