Fine Small-Sized Moravian Redware Jug, NC origin, late 18th or early 19th century, ovoid jug with footed base, tooled shoulder, tall spout with rounded mouth, and extruded handle with beaded edge and depressed lower terminal. Dark-orange, lead-glazed surface. Good condition with small chips to spout, base, and handle, as well as some additional light wear to handle and minor surface wear. Two small in-the-firing contact marks to handle. H 5 1/2".
