Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Parrot Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MASS.," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested parrot perched on a leaf. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. An area of exfoliation to right side of crock at base. A few small rim chips. Some staining. H 11 1/4".
